Application is everything.
Yoh.10:10
Pencuri datang hanya untuk mencuri dan membunuh dan membinasakan; Aku datang, supaya mereka mempunyai hidup, dan mempunyainya dalam segala kelimpahan.
According to God, He wants us to have a life that’s abundance.
This is your destination:
Jesus come so that you may have a FULL life and that you may have it ABUNDANTLY.
However, there is often a DISCONNECT between where we want to end up (destination) and THE PATH we choose.
The Path Principle
Prov.7:6-27
DIRECTION determines destination.
You will always end up where the path you are on takes you.
Prov.7:25-27
Do not let your heart turn to her ways or stray into her paths. Many are the victims she has brought down; her slain are a mighty throng. Her house is a highway to the grave, leading down to the chambers of death.
Intention doesn’t matter; the choice of your path matters.
Mazmur 25:
Beritahukanlah jalan-jalanMu kepadaku, ya Tuhan, tunjukkanlah itu kepadaku. Bawalah aku berjalan dalam kebenaranMu dan ajarlah aku, sebab Engkaulah Allah yang menyelamatkan aku.
Siapakah orang yang takut akan Tuhan? Kepadanya Tuhan menunjukkan jalan harus dipilihnya. Orang itu sendiri akan menetap dalam kebahagiaan dan akan cucunya akan mewarisi bumi.
